Define the campaign as signal severance, giving every district, guardian, and interface state one narrative purpose.

Last Strike
An original run-and-gun campaign across twelve transformed New York districts, balancing lost-arcade tactility with modern browser delivery.
Play Last StrikeWhy / Challenge
Make a lost arcade cabinet feel newly alive.
The product needed the immediate clarity of a classic run-and-gun without becoming a nostalgia replica. The decision was to contrast tactile 1UP-era signals and scanlines with cinematic New York environments, responsive control, local records, and a twelve-zone campaign that steadily transforms the city.
What / Process
One visual signal, carried from brand to battle.
Create the interlocked LS mark, acid signal slash, transmitter crown, and red NYC tab as a scalable franchise kit.
Layer photoreal plates, terrain bands, silhouettes, sprite states, eight-direction aim, weapons, and boss arenas.
Add interpolation, touch controls, accessibility settings, deterministic test hooks, and local top-five field records.
Output
New York, progressively severed from the signal.

Outcome
A complete, dependency-free browser campaign whose identity, interaction model, and city-scale progression all reinforce one directive: break the signal.Back to AI case studies
